Kinusaiga No-Sew Fabric Art DIY Kit

Create a beautiful fabric design—without sewing a single stitch! We’ve already completed the tricky prep work for you. Your foam board arrives with the design cut into it and the sticky pattern paper in place, ready for you to start creating.

Kinusaiga is a Japanese fabric art inspired by the tradition of giving beautiful kimono fabric a new life. It has the look of quilting, but requires no needles or sewing. Simply work on one section at a time: cut a piece of fabric, press the fabric onto the sticky surface, and tuck the edges into the grooves. Your design will come together one piece at a time!

Your DIY kit includes:

• Coordinating fabric
• Step-by-step instructions

Fabric colors and patterns may vary slightly from the photo, but the overall color palette and finished look will be very similar.

NOT INCLUDED IN DIY KIT: scissors and a seam ripper. A small razor would be helpful but is not necessary. If you don't already have these tools at home, add our optional Kinusaiga Starter Tool Set, which includes a seam ripper, small razor blade, and embroidery scissors.
