Booking a Private Workshop

WORKSHOP DETAILS

Private workshops are available Tuesday through Sunday at:
12:00 PM · 3:00 PM · 6:00 PM

Our DIY Creative Studio can host up to 24 guests, with a minimum of 4 people required for workshops.

Each private session is led by a friendly Woods Lane & Co. instructor who will guide your group step by step — no experience needed! Just show up ready to have fun, get creative, and make something uniquely yours.

🧺 Snacks + Sips Welcome!

Feel free to bring your own snacks, desserts, or even your favorite beverages — yes, wine is welcome!
We’ve got a dedicated table just for food and drinks, plus a full-size fridge and kitchen available for your group to use during your workshop.

🎉 Pro tip: Don’t forget to bring paper products (plates, napkins, cups, etc.) — we’ve got plenty of paint brushes, but not many forks. 😉

HOW TO BOOK

Booking your private workshop is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  1. Use our online calendar to select your date and time.
  2. Pay a $20 nonrefundable deposit to reserve your spot.
  3. Once your date is confirmed, we’ll create a private booking page just for your group — where each guest can view project options and pay for their own seat.

You'll receive an email with a link to the private booking page within 12-24 hours after booking.

Private Workshop Options

  • Wood Signs

    Cost: Price Varies

    Guests will choose a project from our DIY Project menu to create during the workshop. Wood signs, door hangers, or porch signs using vinyl stencils. Everyone chooses what they want. to make!

  • Hat Burning + Hat Bar

    Cost: $78

    Choose a hat and choose a design to burn on the hat. Visit our Hat Bar to choose embellishments for your hat -choose from feathers, ribbon, lace, wheat. Also have the option to upgrade to a premium hat.

  • Custom Doormats

    Cost: $48

    Each guest will make a custom coir doormat from a selection of 5-6 designs chosen by the host of the workshop. The doormats measure approximately 18" tall x 30" wide.

  • Terrariums

    Cost: $50

    Learn how to create a beautiful succulent terrarium! Each guest will choose 2-3 succulents, moss, and other small items to include in their terrarium. *Not available in Winter

  • Bookshelf Initials

    Cost: $45

    Each guest will paint and assemble their own initial bookshelf. These adorable bookshelves stand about 8" tall and are 3/4" thick. Customize with your own paint colors.

  • Turkish Lamp

    Cost: $70

    Create a beautiful Turkish lamp in this workshop. Each guest will choose from green, blue, or a multiolored lamp to decorate and assemble.

What to Expect on the Day of the Party

Guests are encouraged to arrive up to 30 minutes early to allow time for parking (you can locate parking here) and to get settled before the workshop begins. Workshops start promptly and run for approximately 2 hours.

We provide a designated table for food and drinks, along with access to our full-size fridge and kitchen for anything you bring along to enjoy during your workshop.
Just a heads-up — we’ve got plenty of paint supplies, but please remember to bring your own paper products (plates, napkins, cups, etc.) for snacks and drinks!

To respect the flow of our daily schedule and allow us time to reset for the next group, we kindly ask that events wrap up within the 2-hour window. If additional time is needed, a $50 extended studio fee per 30 minutes may apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time can we arrive?

You may come up to 30 minutes prior to the start of your party to get set up and welcome your guests.

Can we bring wine?

Yes, you're welcome to bring wine or your favorite adult beverages! We have a corkscrew available for use — just be sure to bring your own cups or glasses.

Are we expected to tip the Instructor?

While we certainly don't require tipping, it is greatly appreciated by our Instructors! If you feel your instructor worked hard and made your workshop extra special, please feel free to tip!

What if we don't meet the minimum of 4 participants?

No worries — we can still host your workshop! However, since our specialty workshops require at least 4 participants, a small group fee of $75 will be added to help cover the cost of setup and instruction for smaller groups.

Please note that the $20 booking fee is nonrefundable. But if you'd prefer, we’re happy to help you switch to a public workshop. Just send us a message — we’re here to help!

What if someone isn't able to come to the workshop last minute?

We understand that life happens! Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds for missed workshops. However, we’ll be happy to package their project as a take-home kit so they can complete it at their convenience.

Where is the closest parking?

You may park anywhere on the street or in any of the public parking lots in Zelienople. The closest 2 parking lots are directly next to our shop (public parking on evenings and weekends only) or in the public parking lot behind the Kaufman Tavern. See a detailed map of where to park here.

How do I invite my friends?

After booking through our online calendar, you’ll receive an email 24-48 hours later with a link to your private booking page. From there, you can easily share the link with your friends so they can choose and pay for their own projects. It’s that simple!
