What to Expect on the Day of the Party

You may arrive up to 30 minutes prior to the start of your party to get set up. There is a table for food to be set on, an area for gifts, and plenty of room for other decorations. Parties will start right on time and last 2 hours. Parents may stay or leave their child for the party.

TYPICAL FLOW OF A BIRTHDAY PARTY

  1. Kids will complete the first part of their project.
  2. Kids will move to the "food" table for about 20 minutes. At this time they can have a snack, eat cake, open presents, or play a game.
  3. Kids will move back to the project table and finish their project.
  4. While the projects are finishing up, kids will move to the 'food" table again for about 20 minutes.
  5. Last, it's time for the "BIG REVEAL"! We love this part! We'll take a look at everyone's masterpiece!

We love creating at Woods Lane & Co. and would be so happy to host your child's Birthday Party! Please reach out to us using the contact form at the bottom of the page if you have any questions.

Happy creating!

Frequently Asked Questions

What time can we arrive?

You may come up to 30 minutes prior to the start of your party to get set up and welcome your guests.

Can we bring our own food?

Yes! Feel free to bring snacks, cake, drinks, and any other food you would like for the party. You may also order pizza to be delivered to the store. There are several options within walking distance.

Just don't forget paper products! We only have paint cups and brushes in the workshop!

What if we don't want to bring in food?

No problem! You can bring a simple game for the kids to do or open presents. One parent used her phone and let the kids have a little dance party!

Are we expected to tip the Birthday Party Instructor?

While we certainly don't require tipping, it is greatly appreciated by our Birthday Party Instructors! If you feel your instructor worked hard and made your party day extra special, please feel free to tip!

Can we bring decorations?

Absolutely! There will be a separate table for the kids to sit at for snacks/food, and also a long slim table to put all the food and drinks on. Most families bring fun tablecloths, balloons, and garland.

Is there a price discount if we have less than 10 guests?

We aren't able to offer a discount for smaller groups as we've worked hard to make this rate as affordable as possible for our customers without skimping on value and quality. Our pricing includes an instructor, a personalized set up for each party, 2 hours of private party time in the workshop plus time to set up, and materials and supplies.

What if someone isn't able to come to the party last minute?

No worries! We know things tend to come up. Their project will be packaged up as a take home kit.

Where should we park?

You may park anywhere on the street or in any of the public parking lots in Zelienople. The closest 2 parking lots are directly next to our shop (public parking on evenings and weekends only) or in the public parking lot behind the Kaufman Tavern.
